Heartwarming Seafood Pancakes

  • Naked Kitchen SF 945 Valencia St San Francisco, CA, 94110 United States (map)

With the Lunar New Year’s Day approaching, we'll try our hand at making ceremonial food to celebrate this important occasion. With majority of the population rooted in Buddhism, New Year’s Day is a time of reflection and giving thanks to our ancestors for watching over us. I grew up watching my aunts pan-fry hundreds of Juns (fritters) in preparation for the big ceremony, the most common ones being made from fish filet (which we will be making in this class), peppers, or beef. We will also make seafood pancakes, a popular appetizer that derived its origins from Jun
